【主講人簡(jiǎn)介】Bikash C. Pal院士,現(xiàn)任帝國(guó)理工學(xué)院電氣與電子工程學(xué)院教授,兼任英國(guó)皇家工程院(RAE)院士、加拿大工程院(CAE)院士、印度國(guó)家工程院(INAE)院士、IEEE Fellow等職。2025年,Bikash C. Pal院士由我校新能源電力系統(tǒng)全國(guó)重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室主任劉吉臻院士領(lǐng)銜的5位院士聯(lián)合提名推薦,入選中國(guó)工程院外籍院士。Bikash C. Pal院士深耕電力系統(tǒng)穩(wěn)定與控制領(lǐng)域,學(xué)術(shù)造詣深厚,國(guó)際學(xué)術(shù)影響力卓著。
【講座內(nèi)容】Large, interconnected power systems are inherently oscillatory. With more uptake from asynchronous generations, although the nature of oscillations has evolved, they are always difficult to control. Mainly robustness of the system control performance has been an issue. Model based linear robust control has been explored over the past 30 years, the control is not simple requiring model reductions. Faster estimation of system dynamics, phasor estimation, point of wave estimation are now very useful for time critical monitoring and control of a real-world power networks. This talk will highlight the importance of linear robust control, model and control simplifications, various other robust low order dynamic estimation and control of power networks for their stable operation.
